As Christians, we are called to live a higher life - a life that reflects JESUS and turns away from the ways of this world. That is easier said than done but in this ep, we speak about why it's so important to repent & WANT to change our ways because it leads to ETERNAL LIFE.

ep 15: what are you letting shape you as a Christian?

I used to allow myself to be influenced by people just because they said they were a Christian, or even listen to sermons/preachers without even knowing the truth behind the messages because I was not in the word myself or in a true personal relationship with God. 
It wasn't until I fully surrendered my life to God and started developing a deeper relationship with Him myself, that I realised so much more about who I am and what the word says about who he needs us to be. Things I would have no clue about if I didn't have a relationship w Him, and just continued listening to outside influences, and this is when I realised how AWARE we need to be of what CHRISTIAN content we are letting into our lives - but it all starts with our own relationship w God. 
Everything we listen to; sermons, podcasts, influencers; it should all be based on the word of God; and the only way we're going to differentiate false doctrine from sound doctrine, is being in the word ourselves and letting the Holy Spirit speak to us through it.
God is so good and will meet you wherever you are, but He wants soooo much more for us too <3 xxx.
 
 

ep 14: when will this suffering end?

Suffering as a Christian is one of the most difficult things to understand, especially when we look around and people who aren't living for Jesus seem to have no trouble at all (which I don't think is the case - I think we all suffer, Christian or not - the difference is having GOD to rely on). But as I've been reading the book of Acts especially, God has been speaking to me so much about suffering and why we experience it. In Acts 20:24, Paul speaks about his life being worth nothing to him & being willing to die for Jesus. WOW. What a wakeup call to us who are constantly complaining. And not taking away from our feelings and things that we go through, but it really puts our lives in perspective and what our purpose is, which is to spread the gospel! Through my own experiences with suffering, one example being the reason this week's episode was late!!! I know God teaches us through it all. I was a bit nervous about sharing my perspective but I know God will speak to whoever needed to hear this. Remember, God loves you soooo much and will meet you WHEREVER YOU ARE. xxxx

ep 13: forgiveness

When we realise that we've been forgiven of our sins even though we never deserved it.. we never earned it.. it's simple to understand oh, ok, I guess I should forgive others too. BUTTTT easier said than done. So many of us (me included) are holding onto unforgiveness, maybe without even realising it. But God has called us to forgive and lead w love.

ep 12: God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow

I pray this episode encourages you if you're currently facing a struggle because God is the same yesterday, today & FOREVER and the word promises that <3 
No matter what you're going through, God is there and he will show up for you - it may not be in the way we expect but He is always there to provide what we need, even if the thing we need is for Him to use struggles to build our faith and grow into who we need to be. 
He loves you so much. If you feel distant from Him or don't know how to start a relationship with Him, just speak to Him. He has been waiting for you. xxx

ep 11: how's your heart?

Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it
I loved speaking about this verse today because everythiinggggg we do, how we speak, think and act - all flow from our heart. 
It's so important for us to ask God to search our hearts and make us aware of our brokenness so we can heal!! And He is the ultimate healer :) 
God is so good and loves you soooo much. 

ep 10: you're exactly where you're meant to be

YOU'RE EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. The world's view of "success" is so different to what God sees as success, and how he shows us favor. And what's important is our HEART and heart posture. Ruth is the epitome of someone who's heart was the reason for God's favor over her life as we speak about in this episode.
God is so good and loves you so much and HE is the ultimate healer.

EP 9: self love & leading with love

I love you guys! Welcome back to WYA <3 
This week I felt sooo led to continue speaking about self love and the importance of leading with love - and I know we're not all at the same place in our walk with God/healing BUT Jesus meets us WHEREVER YOU (we) ARE!
Even if this is not where you are at the moment, I pray that God continues to heal you and change your perspective so you understand how much he loves you. 
You are here for a purpose!

EP 8: healing from unhealthy relationships

HEALING is not a pretty process. It can be sooo hard, and today I just wanted to share the real time pain that we all endure as we try to heal and become better versions of ourselves, especially after a toxic/unhealthy relationship or in the midst of one - even friendships.
 
I hope that if you relate to what we spoke about today; abandonment issues, anxious attachment styles.. that you know God is our healer. And He has soooo much for us, more than we could ever imagine.

EP 7: scarcity mindset vs abundance mindset

God has called us to live an ABUNDANT life. Jesus himself said that 'He has come to give us life and life abundantly".
But living from a place of lack can affect the true way we are meant to be living, the way that Jesus called us to live. 
We spoke about living from a victim mentality last week and living in a lack mindset affects this so much!! 
If you feel like this is you, because this is something I definitely continue to pray healing over in my own life, I hope this episode encourages you to give everything you feel over to God and know that He has called us to live an abundant life <3
